Landscape Genetics Laboratory - The UT Tree Improvement Program, in collaboration with the U.S. Geological Survey, is developing a landscape genetics laboratory. Landscape genetics is the integration of landscape ecology and population genetics. Specifically, the lab will concentrate on genotyping and determining spatial genetic patterns of a variety of plant and animal species. The purpose of the lab is to explore a variety of questions regarding plant and animal ecology through the use of landscape genetics.
